When it comes to
accommodating customers wants and needs, Audimute strives to be
the best. Since actions speak louder than words, the experts at
Audimute came up with a creative solution that inspired Kevin King, of
Blind Dog Audio, to share his story with others.
"When we set out to rebuild Blind
Dog Audio, the goal was to create the most comfortable, beautiful,
and acoustically flexible recording space possible. Being somewhat
space limited we only have a few hundred square feet to work with
it was imperative to find acoustic panels that would complement the
acoustics while keeping true to the professional appearance and
magnificence of the space.
I found Audimute while searching the web for lighted acoustic
panels. Our control room is really quite small and I knew it
would need panels in addition to the other acoustic treatments we were
installing, yet I also wanted some indirect lighting in that room as
well. Mitch @ Audimute helped by designing a couple of lighted panels
for that room, and provided excellent assistance (with photos, no
less!) to help us get all the wiring in place to run all the lighted
panels from a single remote.
In addition to the lighted panels, we also purchased several triangle
and standard 2''x4'' panels. A couple of these larger panels went
into the control room alongside the lighted panels and the end result
sounds absolutely AMAZING! The other panels were strategically
positioned in the quiet room to create an acoustically live space that
sounds significantly louder than it actually is, which translates very
well in our recordings.
Acoustics aside, did I mention how GREAT they look?"
