JB Sound Announces Dealership with Groove Tubes

JB Sound, LLC has finalized their dealership with Groove Tubes, LLC. JB Sound will stock and sell products from their professional audio line, including the Vipre, the Glory Comp, and the Brick. Orders will begin shipping May 9, 2005.

Groove Tubes made a splash in 2001 with their introduction of the Vipre, the Variable Impedance Tube Microphone Preamp. This unit was the culmination of years of research and design, and is quite possibly the best tube preamplifier on the market today. The recently released "Brick" has received similar praise, both for its versatility and its great price. It contains much of the same technology used in the Vipre but is packaged to be equally at home in the studio or on the stage, and is priced under $400. Their next masterpiece is the Glory Comp, an all-tube compressor that is predicted to be another huge hit with recording studios and engineers. It employs the use of 7 high-quality vacuum tubes, a custom wound transformer, built-in EQ, and much more. Aspen Pittman, founder of Groove Tubes, states that he spared no expense to build what he calls the "best tube compressor ever made."

JB Sound will provide substantial discounts for all "pre-orders" on the new Glory Comp. They also plan to offer several package deals that will include free gear with the purchase of either a Glory Comp or a Vipre.
