When it comes to choosing sound control products for your space, Pyramid studio foam and other types of recording studio foam might stand out as some of the more affordable options, but they certainly don’t stand out as the most effective.
Luckily, a highly effective, inexpensive absorption alternative to Pyramid studio foam exists. Audimute Acoustic Panels are the choice of many studio owners and music engineers who are looking to reduce echoes and reverberation in their studios.
“I have several 2x4 Audimute Panels now and 4 Bass Traps. I have seen other acoustical products [like recording studio foam], both in person and online, however in my view nothing compares to your products! They are sonically very efficient, look great and since they are eco-friendly, I feel confident that they will not hurt my health (after all, I spend quite some time in my studio). Thank you for a great product!”
As many of our customers have decided, there are a number of reasons to choose Audimute Acoustic Panelsover recording studio foam:
•Performance: Acoustic Panels have the ability to reduce echoes and reverberation by as much as 100% in a properly treated space. The table below shows the noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of all Audimute absorption products vs. recording studio foam.
•Installation: Pyramid studio foam products require permanent installation. It is typically applied to walls and ceilings using an adhesive that can damage the surface when the foam is removed. Audimute Acoustic Panels, on the other hand, are portable and easy to hang using panel clips. They can be easily relocated, leaving behind only tiny nail holes.
•Durability: Recording studio foam will harden and crack over time. In addition, recording studio foam will also discolor as they are exposed to oxygen and ultraviolet rays. Because Audimute Acoustic Panels are made from natural and recycled materials, the products are durable and will maintain their aesthetic appeal.
•Product Choice: For customers who want a cost-effective, stylish acoustical solution that is highly effective in absorbing sound, Audimute Acoustic Panels are the answer. Available in a wide variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, Acoustic Panels by Audimute can even customized with images, logos, photos and fabric selections to enhance the décor of your space. On the other hand, Pyramid studio foam—even colored—just looks like foam.
•Environmental benefits: All Audimute acoustical products are made from natural and recycled materials, designed with environmental consciousness as well as performance in mind. Choosing our products over Pyramid studio foam and other recording studio foam products benefits your
•Cost: Audimute acoustical
products actually cost less than or approximately the same as recording studio foam products.

Artist Managers and Artists to Converge on New York City for Inaugural Conference Event
Artist Managers, Self-Managed Artists, and Bands/Artists seeking management representation are expected to gather for the inaugural Artist Management Conference in New York City February 7 – 10, 2010.
New York, May 25, 2009 -- The Artist Management Conference 2010 is a 4-day event taking place in New York February 7 – 10, 2010 that will bring together Artist Managers, self-managed Artists, and Artists seeking representation to network, discover new talent, create partnerships, address issues of mutual interest, and conduct serious business.
“The conference comes together at a point where several needs converge”, says Jeremy Rwakaara, conference producer at the Artist Management Resource. According to Rwakaara, there has been an uptick in the number of individuals seeking information about getting into the field of Artist Management. Active artist managers have expressed interest in an event that acknowledges the important contributions they make to the music business while providing an atmosphere for socializing and networking with peers. Simultaneously, the number of emails to the Artist Management Resource from Artists seeking management representation is up dramatically from just 2 years ago, when the vast majority of emails to the company were from artists seeking A&R contacts or information about shopping demos to record labels. Rwakaara continues, “There has also been an increase in the number of Artists intrigued by the prospect of self-management, either as a result of a bad experience with a manager or frustration from not being able to find a suitable manager to represent their interests”.
The conference is organized to provide an opportunity for all these issues to be addressed. Strategy-focused day sessions and enlightening keynotes will address the needs of aspiring managers. Active managers will attend, in addition to the daytime panel sessions, dozens of band showcases and networking parties held in the evenings and designed to facilitate interaction with peers. Self-managed Artists will have the chance to view illuminating presentations and participate in problem-solving workshops, as well as have access to group roundtables and mentoring sessions. Artists seeking management representation will absorb crucial information in the ‘I Need Management’ panel session held during the final afternoon of the conference, as well as partake in the conference wrap party designed to provide additional networking opportunities.
A unique feature of this conference will be the Artist Manager Awards gala and networking reception. The Artist Management Conference 2010 opens with an evening Welcome Reception on Sunday February 7, 2010 that will incorporate an Awards Gala where the handing out of 3 awards for Artist Manager ‘Legend’, Artist Manager of the Year, and Indie Artist Manager of the Year will take place. These 3 awards are designed to honor and distinguish excellence in, and outstanding contribution to, the field of Artist Management.
Another important issue that is being addressed by the conference organizers is the cost of registration. “In this tough economy, we’re offering partial payment and installment plan options that will enable registrants to pay their registration fees in installments in order to participate in this must-attend event”, Rwakaara explains. Hotel room, car rental, and airline ticket discounts have also been negotiated to provide additional savings to registrants.
To register for the conference or for additional information, visit the official conference website at http://www.amconevent.com.
