 DiscoveryS writes: Discovery's newest sample collection is INDONESIA – THE MAGIC ($55), a CD-ROM with over 680 MB of 16-bit, 44.1 kHz recordings in Acidized WAV,
REX2, KONTAKT, BATTERY, and MACHFIVE formats.
This collection supplies the rich samples of the most well known Indonesian melodic percussion including Gamelan and Jegog. The files are provided in multi formats as well as wav so that both of the solo and ensemble are available on the disc. In addition, this CD-ROM covers Sengak which is the casual version of Kecak known as Indonesian voice percussion. The performance is constructed with fewer people than the normal Kecak.
