Do you ever feel like...

Do you ever feel like you were born to do music? Like this is what you were put on this earth to do? Do you ever listen to music and get goosebumps? A connection that simply can't be explained? When you write or compose, is there any greater satisfaction than watching it all come together? A true expression of yourself, pouring your heart out on a song... Nothing can compare in this musicians eyes... A connection with the listener, that's why I do this...
When a person tells an artist, your song/music helped me through a hard time and dark place... THAT is why I do this... NOT for money or sales, but the impact and connection it can create.
Do you ever listen to your genre, and say, Wtf, I have way more to offer than these clowns on the t.v. making a killing off of no talent? Like you are almost being robbed of a deserving RIGHT to share true Passion and talent to the world? But for one reason or another, its a hell of a mountain to climb...
This is what I'm going through right now. I feel like being a felon, man who made mistakes, yet grew so much, is restricted to poverty, unable to acheive true musical potential because of choices I made as a youngin- unable to afford the necessary equipment to effectively capture this image and sound of music in my heart and head. While people who have the world to offer to music sit here unkown, artists run the music scene who don't give a shit about the music, all about sales and money, while people like me sit here truly disgusted.
Pent up emotions and aggresion can no longer sit idle, as I chip away at this bottle of bacardi, I share with you the burden I deal with on a day to day basis. To all the musicians, producers, manufacturers and engineers that had to/have to deal with this feeling, this next drink is for you. I promise to never give up on my dreams and keep pushing as long as I'm alive on this earth. I promise to never give up until my destiny turns into reality. And if you suffer through the same obstacles, know you're not alone. Cheers to anyone who bothered to read this random, uncensored blog(literally my first blog ever).
