What's up everyone? So what I'm going to start doing here on recording.org is create a blog to try and get a new song recorded every week. I have a month and a half to go of not working and not having a whole lot else to do. In April I will be moving to California because I have a cheap place to stay and I get to try something new other than living at home in Massachusetts. I started off in the recording world about 5 or 6 years ago with a simple song that I recorded through my $50 Behringer mixer and an SM57. I did a one man band sort of deal and wrote most of it while recording, it was a bit of a fluke. Ok, so I may not be a professional as I record in a bedroom with a hardwood floor, but the reason I would like to win Sonar 8.5 is because for the past 5 or so years that I have been recording, I have had kind of "beginner" programs to start out.
