Uh-huh.
Real authentic 60's Fender basses sell for a bit more than that including the student models. So this is either a scam or a real bargain.....
I am selling a cherry red Fender bass supposedly from the 60's. Selling for $300+ USD. Any suggestions or buyers?
Comes with T-Top amp from the 80's and a Fender case.

As Dave said either the wrong date or the wrong price. There are plenty of places on the web that can help you with the date and location of manufacture of any Fender instrument. Try tdpri.com. If you have pictures of the headstock, neck plate, bridge and the location of the serial number we could even take a shot here. There are also several books on Fender instruments if you have access to a good library.

I said supposedly. The thread is for my brother, who skrewed up on the date. It is 1989, and he's deciding to sell it somewhere else....so......Yeah, wrong date. Sorry! :p
So where was it made? What model is it? Theres not enough information for anyone to make a judgement call on whether to pursue buying it. No picture ....model....place of manufacture...If its no longer for sale here then lets get this thread off the server.
