    Default heres a dumb question...

I'm considering getting a digi 001 system (off ebay) and since I will be switching from a desktop PC to mac powerbook labtop in the near future I'm wondering if the pci card for the digi001 is installable into both the powerbook and a desktop pc. I'm assuming it only fits in a desktop and not a labtop, but since I've never owned a labtop before I figured I'd ask.

nope- no pci in laptops- you'll have to get a firewire interface in one of those- the motu stuff works good on macs-

You'll have to go MBox if you want Pro Tools with a laptop. Make sure that laptop has plenty of RAM and speed.
