    Hi!

    The main analog output doesn’t work at the same time when you have the optical output selected to TOSLink(s/pdif)?

    I want to ear the mix with the studio monitors (connected to the main output) at the same time when recording to the DAT recorder... or Minidisk (connected to the optical output).

    I would recommend contacting Mark of the Unicorn since I also on a 2408 Mark II and found that there routing is a little strange and difficult to comprehend and to configure and since I do not have your particular unit I cannot really suggest what to change within that units routing interface but I can assure you you're just one click away from what you need to do. I had to contact them when I first purchased my unit because their setup procedures really weren't as comprehensive or make as much sense as I think they could have done.

    I have the same unit but never used the digital output. I'll give it a shot tonight and see what happens.

    unicornation sucks.
    Questions rarely get answered and MOTU doesnt care enough to have 1 or 2 trained employees help moderate the thing.
