    Remember this:
ANYTHING in this world is possible, if you put enough sweat, money, and soul into it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The current model you are looking for is called the Motif Rack ES.

The Motif Rack is a hardware synth as opposed to the software synth that came with your controller. It is the brains of a Motif and your controller substitutes for the keyboard of the Motif and sends midi to the rack which then puts out analog sounds. You could record it on a computer by sending the analog signals to an interface which would convert them to digital music signals (i.e. not midi). These could be recorded with any DAW software that works with your interface.

    +1

Just remember that if you have the usb cable plugged into the controller, you may trigger software synth sounds at the same time, so don't be surprised if you hear something strange once in a while unless you keep it unplugged.
