Thread: Sonar 8 Mic Settings

Im using Sonar 8 to record vocals and Im having mic issues. Normally when I choose my input I select my microphone and it says left right or stereo. But lately it just says mono and it sounds distorted and awful. Im not sure if im having mic issues or software issues. I feel like it might be my audio settings but im not sure. I cant figure it out. Please help.

Im using a usb mic. Its like MXL or something. I dont have an interface but Im saving up for one.
