I am here. Thanks for asking. We have been busy making Sonar earn its keep over here. We have just completed a project for our label that is due out in April and have just started on a track for a movie due out in July.

One new development. How many of you are having trouble linking your Motif to your system? Send me some feedback.

Whata a Motif?

Do you mean "What is a Motif? If that is indeed the question, it is the latest keyboard from Yamaha. I will say that it has great sounds and capability. The terminology is a little tricky. Patches are voices etc... but once you get through that, the rest is just great sounds.

I had the pleasure of hooking up the Motif in my own setup. The first set of things that comes up are no patch settings in Sonar. You have to get them from Yamaha of Motifrator.com

Then its the usb midi setup. This one will take some time to explain so if anyone has a motif and having trouble working it with Sonar, contact me.
