    I seem to have some of these...

    Nope. it's an IF balanced modulator and/or demodulator, working at modulating high frequencies. The associated transformers won't work in audio range.

    Other than that - the diode array may be matched - and thus make an available source for matched diodes for Neve-style compressors.

    (btw - my initial thought was a tiny passive ring modulator)

    You would be better off just matching some 1N4148s for the MS-50, or finding a couple CA3019s for it. Although those Mixer chips might work. you can find the schematic for the MS-50 VCF and VCA at
