Jeepers Creepers, that auction's got everything a studio could want, from several U47s to a 5ft python! Are the python and the turtle included in the bulk auction?

Someone's gonna get a bargain somewhere I reckon, if only my bank was more compliant

Yeah I saw that, but it's not a normal Ebay auction. When I looked into the details they want you to bank transfer a portion of your maximum bid to them before you bid, and then you can bid in a live online auction against bidders at the auction house. I just sounded complicated and I got a bad vibe from the whole thing. Mabye I'll miss out on some deals, but my Vibe'o'meter™ hasn't steered me wrong yet.

I'm a little unsure too... If bidspotter is a division of eBay, then how come it has a user feedback? ...and a user feedback of Zero to boot...

All of a sudden the whole eBay 'security' feeling isn't as rock-solid for me... -pity!

I'm here in NYC. I don't know Al personally but I know a tech who rents space from him and I have a couple of friends who have recorded there over the years. I would guess this is on the up and up. But don't quote me on that.

I've purchased a couple of things from Alan at eBay over the last few years. He's a fairly well known cat in the biz. Man...what a boat load of gear! It seems it would have been a good idea to have the auction in October durring AES in NYC.

I didn't know you could go in person. Count me in. I love a good auction. I went to the National Video auction. The deal that everyone in the room applauded was an AP system two for $1200.
