Interesting... I found those papers online a few months ago while I was looking at some other Von Braunmühl/Weber information. The world of audio seems to owe these gentlemena quite a bit, since while they worled at AEG, they developed AC biasing for analog (as we now know it!) tape recording.

A word of advice for anyone stretching and glueing membranes. Use 2 part epoxy as a glue. It works much better than other glues I've tried.
Make sure that the seat in your tuning jig is at least as wide as your retaining ring and that you apply the glue thinly to avoid forming any lumps.

Hey slightly OT, has anyone looked at Gunther Wagner's capsules? He makes M7's to the original specs and for those who didn't know he has made a few select U47s from NOS parts.
