Do you happen to have the part number for this meter. I was going to order the 1176 meters, and might do the la2a meters at the same time.

I have some ampex 351 meters which would be cool for a la2a I believe, if you were planning on putting it in a large enclosure, I think you would need maybe three spaces, but you might be able to cram it into a two space chasis. If anyone is interested, shoot me an email and I'll see if I can dig up a photo for you. dave@glideonfade.com

    cheers

I dont have the part no off hand but I can find it.

beware....this meter is just simply expensive....off the shelf it runs about $120 ea. even at 25+ quantities your still looking around $90 ea. and thats without the Teletronix logo

Hi scenaria...OK ,very old thread ( long shot!!)....I'm desperately looking to replace my old LA2A Beede meter. ( bad meter)...did you have any luck chasing these up, or have any other leads on the original Beedes?...any info much appreciated...Cheers

Good news for anyone doing the LA2A. Ive finally worked out a part number with Beede on the LA2A meter. They will sell the exact same meter minus the Teletronix logo on the meter scale, correct sensitivity, tolerance and scale deflection. Easy to copy the scale considering keith has provided a scan of one on Kruz's site.

In anycase I am in the process of setting up an account with Beede, once that is done they can send me "official" price quotes based on quantity. There is a minimal 6 week lead time with these meters. For any of you who are thinking of going the punched/screened LA2A panels this would be *the* meter for them. I'll keep ya posted![/QUOTE]
