I think it can offer lower noise figures and perhaps lower distortion .. but right now I can't see/remember how the distortion gets lower ??
Trust me .. just make one as is and then decide if you need to change it.
Hi,
What is the point of paralleling VCA's in the dbx 202 if one will do the job? Is it just redundancy for reliability? If I could get six THAT vca's would there be any point in putting them in the clone in parallel pairs?
Thanks,
Seth

And better transient response! Am I wrong?! If I'm not wrong, that will be good improvement is sound! ;)
Analog saturation!
The 2150's in the 202XT are NOT simply parallel'ed, so don't try this in the SSLClone.
