    I don't know how much of a problem this is for others, but I have not had good luck finding shorting or make-before-break rotary switches for some of these DIY projects. Then I stumbled onto

    For a buck it is hard to get anything these days let alone a two pole six position rotary.

    Not bad for a buck! Thanks for the link.

    BTW, DigiKey sells some very good CTS 11-position m-b-b switches for around $9 ea.
