I often see drummers wearing some sort of earbuds for live performances. I'm looking to use earbuds for monitoring my digital piano (just for live jams where there is no amp monitor).
Should I be OK with something like the Shure SE215-Dynamic-Microdriver-Earphones?

Personally I use Shure 425s. They provide a clear and isolated audio mix for me. One thing about them though is, use the flanged buds. No others seal enough so that you can just hear the mics!. Not 100% isolated but best I can get. I bought BeyerDynamic dt770m headphones which are pushed as THE headphones, one comment, BS!!.
