I am currently using Sonar XL on 2 PC's and need help with syncing them together. Ive played around with the setup a few times, but not sure I'm doing something correctly. The first pc is using the MOTU midi timepiece av. Im using the sound cards midi port on the second pc to connect them together. Everything else is working great. Im just not sure on what the settings should be on both PC's to get them sync'ed together. If you have any ideas or have the same setup, all help is welcomed. Thanks in advance

OK, here it goes, the problems is that you are using two PC and two sounds cards all with out......a master word clock.

Yep you need a reliable master sync. You may be able to connect the S/PDIF out from one card to the S/PDIF of the other. Then in Sonar1 choose the sound card in the first comp as the playback/recording timing master and in Sonar2 on the second machine slave to S/PDIF. You can set this in the audio properties. The MOTU should have some functions available for this.
