1. tab to transient (for audio editing)

2. nugding regions with plus/minus keys

2.5. placing regions in line with the cursor location, or selected region start location (control + drag on PT) (or control+option+drag to duplicate)

3. can the grid values be changed?

4. quick keys for the tools?

5. one other thing: that running man icon keeps activating after i shut it off. i don't want the view to follow the cursor when i'm zoomed in on a certain section!

thanks to anyone who knows this stuff and is willing to save me some time and frustration!

This may be late but I'll type this anyways...

Hit alt k to get to keycommand window, and use this to alter/assign keycommands to those actions you use most (including grid tweeking).

Nudging can be done in from the get go in format(grid) by using the arrow keys while holding alt. You can alter this or set nudging to tics or frames in the key-command window. NO sample nudging (unless you set your tempo to a figure so that tics=samples)

2.5 klick and then press ctrl shift to move by ticks. add the option key to copy.

3.yes hit: option K and look for "set next higher format" and choose a key command.

4.Esc
