what is the easiest and cheapest way to send a fx send to a guitar fx stompbox, what should I do to match the instrument level, do I absolutely need to buy a reamping box?
Depending on yourcurrent equipment, you may be able to get by with a series of step downs using direct boxes wired up in reverse (board -> XLR -> instrument out ->guitar amp/efx - > another direct box -> back to mixer/sound interface...
If you don't have enough, or the ones you already have are...cheesy....then perhaps the ReAmp device IS a necessary investment...might end up costing the same in the long run...maybe even cheaper...and you'll KNOW it works instead of guessing.
