as of now i have my mbox hooked into my two monitors. the speakers that come on the new imacs are just crap and so i need to get some computer speakers. my two monitors could use a sub and I'm try to figure how i can incorporate a 2.1 system with the monitors. ( just the sub). bad idea? whats a good idea for having a rocking computer sound setup, as well as having my Pro Tools setup give me more bass.

My sub has ins and outs on it. From the outs of the Mbox got to the ins on the sub. Then go from the outs of the sub to the ins on your monitors. I don't use the sub when mixing. I get everything balanced in the mains and turn on the sub to see where the low end is at. That's just what works for me.
