Did you try compressing them as zip or RAR files? This might compress them enough to send then on the other end they can extract the compressed files.

I presume you've got a high speed connection.The only way to do this is if the recipient has web space to receive the files (and a high speed connection) Other than that, you've got to send a good old cd

Do you have web server space? If so, upload your files to your web space. Then email the url to the file's location on your web server. Then they can download the file just by clicking on the link you send them. You can even password protect the folder that the files are in. Then no one else can download them.

ZIP compression won't help a stereo mix, much. The only time ZIP's anygood for audio is if the file has a good bit of silence in them. ZIP can compress the silent passages.

The easiest solution these days is actually a free service where you can make up to 1GB available for your friends and colleagues.

May be you must check out some sftp sites...

I agree. I collaborate with a buddy of mine who lives 2500 miles away and we meet up for an AIM/iChat session once a week or so. It's not the fastest solution, but it gets the job done.
