-speaker level dummy load (resistors)
-line level output (DI)
-speaker emulation (lowpass)

Are casters considered to be adequate for decoupling from the floor?
Also, I was raised to always put the tube amp heads on the floor instead of on the cabinets to help prevent microphonic tubes. |

You don't need a specific brand p/s. Just get a nice 500+ watter. The Antecs fans might be a little quiter. Get a couple a GB of good RAM (name brand) and 2or 3 hard drives.

A fully loaded Asus with Intel chips is always a good bet.
In this case it might be better to buy last years models. |

Oh yeah, I'd track two mono guitars and pan one hard right and one hard left. Use a different guitar and play the rhythm a little different. Invert the chord or syncopate it a little different.
