does it change the sound at all...i mean if you listen to each chanel in solo will you be able to tell which one is inverted?

I'd work on getting a better snare sound by adding a mic on under the snare, and blending the two. Make sure to reverse the phase on the two snare mics, otherwise you'll have a lot of cancellation a ... |
