| Many thanks Plush. It seems to be working now in Chrome. The Windows Media Player 48 Kbps sounds pretty bad though, lots of artifacts. The AAC+ is probably better, but I am too chicken to download yet ... |

It looks completely impossible for a guitar, more like something to do with bridge scaffolding. I doubt the designers have ever played an acoustic.

Done a lot of this. The two best results came from high quality omni main pair with wide spacing (1m) and a nice LDC spot on the soprano in the first case and an SF24 vocal spot in the second case.

| I would place the mics around the lower bout of the instrument. Stay away from soundhole and you should be fine. Use a Hypocardioid to accenutate a richer spectrum, that will offset the HF pick energy ... |

| Yeah, the prominent pick noise is mainly because its a tortoise shell pick and not a plastic one. Its not raining and its just in the lounge room of my little apartment, not near the window. |

Quality gear doesn't really exhibit this problem. Both Schoeps and Neumann have modified their mic circuits to all but eliminate it. Cheap unshielded recorders are another problem.
