| The M-Audio Octane is an example of a reasonably priced preamp with ADAT output. check it out. I think Presonus makes a few called Digimax (LT and FS, IIRC) also. |

The Sony MDR-7506 are good headphones that are pretty commonly employed for studio use. How 'flat' they are, I don't really know, but they're $99 and I like 'em.  |
