| Ok. Question: where do you have your monitors plegged in? Or are you using pc speakers to monitor? If yes, that is your problem. You need to monitor from the "profire". |

I would say that a single vocal done in the proper environment with a quality mic can sound as good as a stacked vocal done under less than ideal conditions.

I know this was designed for that spooky sound but you can make it do some weird stuff. It'll go from demon voice to Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Just turn down the echo, howling and verb effects.

| AFAIK ProTools Free is no longer available. You could purchase and Mbox 2 micro(essentially this is a dongle) that comes with LE but for the price you may as well get a Min that at least has one mic a ... |

| Ok. So, the track is record enabled. The correct input is enabled for the track. Click record to put the daw in record mode and click play to begin recording. |

| More info. Is the track record enabled? Have you gone through the getting started manual step by step to ensure you haven't missed anything? This would be the first thing to do. |
