I agree with Jeremy, but...
For my money it's much easier to rewire a cable than a mic. I would rewire the cable out of phase and just mark it accordingly. I do this for a HHb Cd recorder I have. ... |

FWIW,
The RME's software (while not incredibly intuitive) is incredibly versatile regarding routing. If you're only really looking for monitor volume I think you may be over-buying. |

As a professional singer I too use Guiafeneisen but only in emergency situations. I only use it when congested and have breathing issues -it is one med that doesn't dry out the vocal mechanism.
