I've never heard of Lavry, Mytek, or Lucid. I'll keep those in mind.

That might be why you believe Apogee is the best. It's not. Still decent though.

I've used a Soundcraft M4 (same as the M12, just less pres) for several years. I only use it mostly for my monitoring chain, and it works great. Nice eq.
