| I am not a big fan of spaced omni pairs - I do, however, like 3 or more omnis. To get an acceptable stereo spread with 2 omnis you have to go wide enough that you get the "hole in the middle" syndrome ... |

I don't agree that anyone should apply themselves to an arbitrary rule such as "write the chorus first". What if the verse comes to you before the chorus?

I recorded Creation in a small venue once. Choir behind orchestra on risers. Soloists in front row of choir, but not stepping out for solos.

Wow - I would never have guess M/S. I was betting on a Blumlein pair
I just never get those results with an M/S setup. I think I need to experiment with that a bit more.
