Hey man, that sounds good.
The one thing that comes to mind is that the lead and BG vox seem to sit a little more on top of the mix rather than in it. Almost like the singing is being done to a trac ...

The only thing im wondering is since it offers two 1/4 ports would that mean that i could plug in my monitors and headphones simultaneously? Basically asking if monitors only connect to one port?

I agree. You should experiment a bit with the 'real thing'. It may be worth your while. None the less, what you have via that POD of yours isn't horrible by any means. It's just that in order to compa ...

What amp are you using/too lazy to mic?

The distortion sounds 'ok' on both clips, but it's also a bit lifeless and dull to my ears. Of course, put it in a mix with a bunch of other stuff that is co ...

Unfortunately, there's really not much in the way of in between 2 channel and 8 channel. The 8 channel Apogee option is the Ensemble...at about $1800. You can't expand the Duet either. The software of ...

For $500 I'd say you wouldn't really be able to do much better than an Apogee Duet. The pre's are quite nice, it's a doddle to use and it integrates with your Mac like peanut butter and jelly.

Yep, got it. It took a couple of tweaks and re-reads but it makes sense now. I do use the rear line inputs.
I think it was more a matter of the FF being able to do so much more than I was utilizing.. ...

I've not heard the Oktavas, though I have heard good things about them.

You can't get caught up too much in reviews. I mean, they're 'ok' in general, but don't let the Internet determine your choic ...

It's not insomnia Remy, it's just that the older we get, the less sleep we require.

I marvel (angrily) that I can stay up playing/recording until 4am, go to bed and have my body wake me at 7:30am. ...
