Got a lot of boxyness in those drums. and I don't think the cymbal use is the issues here, here's a few things to try

kick - I'd like to hear the source here cause I'm wondering if that's the issue ...

I like this song. The mix is good. I'd like the vox a little back in the mix and a little bit of plate reverb would be nice, but really it's good enough for me!!
