It was definitely the reason why this happened. There's no way I could spend thousands on plugins. One day, when I can afford it I'd be willing to.

I went into the pro tools file, to the plugins file and took out all of the plugins. The sessions opened perfectly, with inactive plugins. Turns out it was the waves plugins that I had. Suckss.
