Sure you can!
The instructions for using the links are right click save as.
Direct them to the download folder. Just tried it and it works fine!
Is this a new rule of somesort? MP3.com never said anything about it...and it does work with a RIGHT click save as in IE5.0. |

On a mac, that would be "option"-click, or something like that. |

actually, with IE if you just hold the button long enough you get a dialogue box w/choices such as 'download link to disk', which usually works fine...but not with mp3.com anymore apparently... |

Uncle Fletchure was done in Early 1998. We did it all on an 8 track.
Tracks 1-2 is stereo drums. No kick mike.
3 Lead guitar
4 Rythum guitar
5 Bass
6 vox
7 Harmony
8 Extra kick drum track...not yet mixed in on that album.
The Uncle Fletcher Album was a real early rip and their are way too much highs...and no kick drum feed on the MP3. Back then it was difficult to get decent sound on MP3's like can be done now.
The Seizure 69 album was before I got hold of it and completly remixed it. Just an idea copy on MP3 but since it is now finished...it sounds great. The Uncle Fletcher is now mastered and has a much larger tone , kick drums are there, and smoother highs...not ear bleeding ones that are on the MP3.
If anyone wants an Uncle fletchure CD, I still have 90 of them left...and they will go for a 10 spot each. Give me a call and I can take care of it. I will forward 7 dollars to the Artist/Label and cover shipping. I beleive their are several hundred still left from the pressing. T shirts are 15 and I liked the project. I plan to release it formally once the singer decides to come back and be a part of the musicians...but if he don't...we still have the CD's.
Seizure CD's are avalible as well.
Hell, I have about 2 dozen different albums that are avalible.... Without distribution...they will collect plenty of dust. |

Thnk you Robert!
The sound of Piss&Moan is so much better now that it has been remixed and remastered. The MP3 shows the mix balance but the highs are too hot and the kick drum non exsistant. The Artist was kindof in a hurry to post the MP3's and since then the 14 song album is much better.
Funny thing, when we were all finished with the project in recording, I said...guess what guys, let's do the entire thing over again...and when we did, it went to another level.
I do think it is good stuff, although most of the things I work on are acoustic jazz, full scale symphonic, choral and live session work when recording. I am building a new building in the not so distant future that will asccomidate a drum booth...which I do not have now, so studio recording here is a shade impractical for the drummer. The way I have to do it now is to record the drummer in another location and bring everyone in here to play to the drums. I can make it work! |

here's my story... my song she's near
I toured for 15 years with this wonderful woman who I ended up marring, she sang so well, After all those years on the road we stopped to work on some original material; we were so tight. We sent some stuff out to this contest, Warner Bros LA called and said they loved us, We were on our way! looking like a break was near. Something snapped in her and she split before we finished the album. LOL! 15 years of playing music together and wham! She didn't want it anymore. How close does it get? I felt like killing myself I'll tell ya.
Anyway here's one of me doing some jamming on my 1994 PRS. To record, I used what I had at the time to lay it down. Fostex G16 and a Tascam M 216 (65 db s/n) eek but hey...at least I layed it down. she's near
Hope you like it.
 |
