What are some programs that match the basic features of sampletank? ie its competition. im thinking for sure this is what i need for my midi controller to really shine, but id like to know what else is out there. |

There is Native Instruments Kontakt + Intakt, these are nice, then there is Steinbergs Halion, Emagic EXS24, Motu Mach Five and many others.
Also depends on what format you want it for, e.g RTAS or TDM for Pro Tools, or VST for Logic, Cubase SX or Nuendo or DX for Cakewalk. There are adaptors by FXpansion for interchanging between formats. |
