So, yeah I'm a newbie, thing is I like "composing" music on Guitar Pro. I was using the SB Live soundcard but recently I bought and installed the M-Audio Audiophile (PCI). Well the problem is that the Audiophile has no Midi Synth. I want to get rid of the SB Live (I currently have both cards installed) but I need a midi synth for Guitar Pro. I can use the Microsoft Software Wavetable Synth but I prefer the SB Live one by far. Does anyone know of any other good software midi synths? (Freeware preferably)
Thanks in advance. |

OK, I found a pretty nice soft synth called WinGroove. It's pretty good although the distorted guitar sounds suck. If anyone knows a better one please let me know. |

Yamaha made one back in '98 or so called the S-YXG70 for one of the Final Fantasy games. It was decent. |
