I buyed mackie d8b now i need recording software for it. Since i dont have 2000 euros for Nuendo can i buy digidesign mbox-1 and than use Pro Tools LE for recording?
I mean mbox have just 2 inputs so does it mean i can just record with it that 2 inputs from mbox hardware or i can connect mackie and record more channels with Pro tools?
My eng is realy bad so i hope u understaind what im asking... |

It will work but only if you track in singlechannels at a time.. however you could record live with all track using the main out on your board in the Mbox.... |

If not, i was thinking to give 200$ for Reaper just to record with it, and later mix with ProTools(i have Classic RTAS Bundle and McDSP Project Studio bundle for it)
Is that good idea? |
