I guess I have reached a new level of mediocrity. |

The only opinion that counts, far as your demos go, is if anyone that hears them books you and then sends you a check for the agreed upon amount.

Me? I don't often listen to demos of other VO folk. Most are better than I am and it makes me feel bad...... I get enough of that already. |

Just look at your accomplishments thus far; do you really think you would be getting gigs if you didn't sound pro?
I used to worry about what pros thought about my voice. You know as well as I do that you arent making audio for pros or other talent to listen to. The general public will compliment you on your voice if "you have the pipes". It's there opinion that matters. A good producer/project boss or talent agent is in touch with what sounds good to the public. Giving technical advice is the only time opinions from people in the biz matters.
Your best asset is your range, it can appeal to a vast and diverse crowd. You have the pipes, the tech, and the creativity. |
