anyone know any acoustics web sites or documents that go into much detail about this? everything i've read so far only mentions control rooms and tracking rooms. for example, should every surface be covered in foam? would that sound to dull? should there be bass traps?
thanks guys!

I think if your vocal boot is 6m x 6m by 5 meters, you'll have a good sounding vocal booth? If your vocal booth is the size of a telephone booth, it will sound like telephone booth and nobody will like that. The only thing that I put foam all over on are condoms. I think this question would be better answered by one of our forums of acoustic architects?

Exactly! Booths sound like booths. Rooms sound like rooms. You want your vocal in a room not in a booth. Can you say acoustic claustrophobia?
Have you thought about a vocal coffin?
