i recently read an article yesterday that if you want your mix to hit hard calibrate your low end...i did'nt get this phrase since it was written at the end of the article... the article was more about clearing up the conflicting bass frequencies of low end instruments.... but i did'nt get the last part if you want your mixes to hit hard calibrate your low end..... ok here is a brief information of my monitors

I am going to be the unofficial intern for the Acoustics experts here, and ask you to post more about your monitoring environment.
The dimensions of the room, materials used for flooring, walls, etc., any acoustical treatment you many already have up, etc.
Then they will give you excellent information on getting your bottom in shape. Low end, that is. |

well my room size is 11 1/2 in widht 9 1/2 in height and 13 in leangth... i've got 3 doors in that room one leads to the washroom one leads to the outer area i mean a balcony or something wht ever its called and one leads to the common area of my house.... on my walls i have put softboard sheets i don't know wht material it is called over there here its softboard the kinnda board used for bulletin board to put thumb pins etc... floor is carpetted.. well i guess thats about it.... |
