I've been researching studio doors and it seems to be tougher to find then I thought it would be. I found Overly, but I wanted to check out some other options. Here's what I'm looking for.
A decent STC rating, preferably 45 or higher
Less than $1000 (Don't know if this is possible)
Quick shipping times (everything I have seen will take weeks to ship)
If anyone can suggest a place to look, it would be a huge help to me. I'm looking at moving into an existing space that has some leakage from the current door (a standard office door).
Thanks guys!

Steve,
Man... been a busy weekend here and at the home front, so I kinda' overlooked your post... sorry about that.
Check out Rod Gervais' book!!!
Rod's door design isn't a $50 door, but I don't think its a $1000 proposal either... depending on some of the material costs in your local area it may be close to that. However, I can assure you that it will perform as well, if not out perform most of the commercial stuff you'll find.
The real advantage I see in getting Rod's book is all the other valuable information he's put together! |

Thanks Max! I do have Rod's book and it's great. I'm trying to purchase a commercial door, mainly because of time. Just don't have any time to do it myself.
I think I have a solution in place, and I'll update this thread to let people know how I make out, and perhaps it can help people who may have the same situation.
