I work with Bob. I recently joined him on the business end and have the utmost respect for his work as do his clients. I suggest you give the studios a call to get real feedback. He does amazing work and they would all be proud to brag about the quality of his work. If you would like reference phone numbers I would be happy to give you a list. He has a great reputation with 25 years of experience in designing recording studios. He not only understands sound he actually sees it.
Here are just a few for starters. You can check out our website for more.

I will pass on a list of reference numbers and names if you would like more information.
Thanks. |

Suffolk Studio Design has the utmost respect for Russ Berger. Bob is actually a friend of Russ’s. Russ Berger has a team of people and is a bit more costly. Suffolk Studio Design is a smaller operation, is less expensive, and you get one on one with the designer Bob Suffolk.
I also suggest you call and talk to Auralex. They have worked with Suffolk Studio Design for many years and will tell you about the high quality of work that Bob Suffolk does. You can ask for Sean at Auralex, he has been there the longest and is most familiar.
Of course Russ Berger is a great designer to work with as well, if your budget allows you. |

Actually, in all fairness, Berger isn't more expensive. This is a misconception. Russ WANTS you to look at his work and think it is out of your budget. he is a good business man and his communication skills reflect that property. he has an uncanny eye for detail.
to the original poster; if you would like more information regarding this matter and my exeperience with various acoustic designers, feel free to PM me.
