Boss GT8 & Peavey 6505 combo

I'm having a problem with these 2 pieces of equipment together. When i have the boss GT8 running with the amplifier it creates a muffling sound almost like the input is too strong causing the sound. How ever I asked on GT8 site and they said to lower the volumes and nothing really changed and it's still the same... then the peavey site say to ask on the GT8 forum so im getting know where so has any one had any similar experience weather it be with Boss GT8 or not ... if so how did you rectify the problem ?

Use the LOW GAIN input and the CLEAN channel on the 6505, with the rhythm channel PRE GAIN set as low as possible. If this still overloads, report back and I can give you instructions on how to make a simple attenuator.

I know you want to learn to be a pro engineer, but this thread should be in the Guitar & Bass and not the Pro Audio Gear forum.

Ok i have realised if i have the Boss GT8 to uber low like on volume 1 then its ok !! lol!
