I used to be on Mac, but I've switched over to a Windows PC
what is avaliable for Windows that does internal routing?
similar to Soundflower which is Mac only...
any ideas? i can't find anything
you know what i mean? http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower
| Quote: | a system extension that allows applications to pass audio to other
applications. Soundflower is easy to use, it simply presents itself as
an audio device, allowing any audio application to send and receive
audio with no other support needed. |
It acts like a "fake" internal soundcard/mixer
this is a super handy tool
what is avaliable? |

Yes its called Rewire. It was first seen in Rebirth by Propellerheads. Now it is found in most popular audio programs. Its used to connect audio through different applications.
You can find more about it here

External signal routing will be like the mac via a software mixer that comes with your audio interface. |

both programs need to support reWire for it to work... i
the signal routing is mainly from stand alone software (that don't support rewire) that is running inside my computer that i need to route to my multi-tracking.
when i ran soundflower it showed up as an input/output along with my motu inputs/outputs... |

Now I understand, you want to connect standalone and non-rewire apps to your multitrack program. Thanks for sharing that link I didn't know there was a way to do this. |
