Hi.
I'm hoping someone may be able to help.
I can't seem to be able to drag and drop my track mixer window in Logic
over to my other new second computer screen. I have a 19" wide screen LCD as my primary screen which I use for my arrange window and I now have a smaller 15" LCD screen also. Both sceens have been correctly configured to work as dual screens and the resolutions are set correctly also for both.
I've tried to drag and drop the track mixer window on to my 15" screen but its not working.
Would someone be able to help me with a how to.
It would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

I just tried it with logic express 8, and the track mixer drags and drops perfectly. I'm on an early iMac. |

Hi VonRock. Me much older. I use Logic 5.5 for pc.
When I drag and drop any Logic window over to my smaller 15" screen it does go but I don't know how to do it so that I can have dual screens.
ie: Arrange window on large wide screen and track mixer or master fader for bounces on my smaller screen...??? |

On some programs (particularly older ones) you'd need to make your primary program (Logic in this case) fill both screens. In other words, don't maximize it, or it will fill only 1 screen. Instead, shrink it so it's not fully maximized (the middle button in between the dash (minimize) and the 'x' (close)). Then, stretch the program window to cover both screens. That should do the trick. |

Hi Cucco. Yes, I just did that with one of my Logic recording projects and got my Logic Arrange window on to both screens by dragging and dropping, but now, what I do on one screen happens the same on the other, and I cant, or don't know how to open my track mixer window on the left screen and have my arrange window on my other wide screen.
It seems I can't independently select and function on either screen.
What I do to one screen happens to the other...? |
