Master List of Acoustics Specialists

Does anyone have a master list of acoustics specialists or acoustics vendors? Maybe in the form of website URLS?

I am going to be spending a ton on acoustics in this new recording studio I've built in our basement and I sent an email to a local company called GIK and I got a reply from someone passing me off to someone else in the company, and it's been about a week and I haven't heard a thing back from them. I agree that being busy in your work is a good thing, but I need to find a product. The acoustics will affect my lighting decision and where we put the hvac return and so forth. If you know good acoustics companies please post their URL in my thread. Thx!

This is Glenn the owner of GIK and the person who sent your email to Bryan. I am not sure what happened but I do know that Bryan is pretty much on the ball so there must have been some kind of email snag. Would you mind dropping me a quick email so I can get to the bottom of it? I am sorry about this. Embarassed

Something's gotten messed up somehow. I try very hard to respond to all inquiries within a couple of hours. Please send me any and all info you have on the project (sketches, dimensions, etc.) and maybe forward me the submission that Glenn sent back to you.

I can vouch for Glenn and Bryan, and I'll also add that a lot of web hosts are having email problems lately. Many web hosts are currently cooperating with each other to implement new anti-spam measures. Sometimes valid emails get rejected, and sometimes rejection notices don't get back to the sender. I've had a bunch of problems emailing people at .mac addresses, and a few people with Hotmail accounts have had trouble emailing me. Hopefully this will all settle down soon.

If it were up to me I'd make spamming a capital offense. But sadly it's not up to me, and so far the various governments have done nothing useful about the problem of spam.

I agree Ethan - Spam is such a waste. Bryan was having email problems and we got everything moving today.
