Is it unwise to use a compression pedal to get a particular electic guitar sound when recording? Would this limit what I can do with the guitar during mixing? |

If it's the sound you're aiming for then of course not. It might be best to record it near the end so you can see how much of the pedal it needs to work with everything else. |
