Marantz 670 Crashes

Hello All,
I'm preparing for a documentary shoot, and I'll be bringing along a Marantz 670 unit, with some wireless lavs and a sen. shotgun mike. I was running equipment tests, and I come across a worrisome problem. I bought a couple new flash cards, 2 gig PNY Compact flash 133x. Whenever I use them, after I've finished recording, when I try to select a given track and play it back, the unit completely locks up, and I have to yank the power supply (or the card) to restart it. I've noticed this doesn't happen when I use my old 1 gig SanDisk Ultra II compact flash. I thought all compact flash was the same, but did I make a mistake when I got the PNYs? I'd really appreciate any info you can give!

Flash memory is so cheap now. I would try picking up a 2 gig Sandisk Extreme IV and see how it goes. They retail for under $80.00.

Edit: I see other brands for under $40.00 and 8Gig cards for $55.
